Wing/Shield Patches

Air Force wing shield patches place the larger organization at the center of an insignia collection. Explore wing and shield designs for a display organized around assignments, commands or a meaningful unit connection.

Build a unit-centered display

Compare the full unit title, motto and shield artwork with the organization you want to commemorate. Wing-level insignia can complement squadron patches without representing the same organizational level.

• Match the aircraft or unit designation and the pictured design.

Aviation heritage

The U.S. Air Force became a separate service on 18 September 1947 after a long association with the Army. Its unit emblems connect successive generations of airmen with the organizations, aircraft and missions they remember. U.S. Air Force history.

Find the right addition to your collection

Choose by the details on the individual product page. Construction, dimensions and backing can vary between designs, so a collection category should not be read as a specification shared by every patch. Use the photographs and description together to select the version that suits your display, garment or compatible gear panel.
