Army Air Corps patches: design and selection

Browse insignia connected with the Army aviation heritage that preceded the separate Air Force. Compare the complete organization wording and historical design when arranging a period-centered collection.

• Read the full unit, aircraft or ship designation.
• Compare listed dimensions, construction and backing.
• Review the photographs for the exact artwork and wording.

A collection can be organized around an assignment, a particular aircraft or ship, or a series of related unit emblems. Use the wording and artwork to build that connection deliberately. Similar nicknames, colors or silhouettes do not necessarily identify the same organization or period.

Compare the individual product details

Attachment options vary by product. A removable hook-and-loop version is different from a sew-on or iron-on patch, so use the individual listing rather than the category name to identify the backing. For a gift or display grouping, the precise unit and design often matter as much as the overall subject. Explore the related army patches collection for additional designs.
