Lockheed Martin F-117 Nighthawk Model
The F-117 Nighthawk was a stealth fighter aircraft developed and produced by the Lockheed Corporation (now Lockheed Martin) for the United States Air Force (USAF). It was the first operational stealth aircraft in the world and was used for a variety of missions, including air strikes, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. The F-117 was designed to be difficult to detect by radar, and it used a number of technologies and design features to achieve this goal, including radar-absorbing materials and a highly irregular shape.
The F-117 was a single-seat aircraft and was powered by a single turbofan engine. It had a maximum speed of about 600 mph (970 km/h) and could reach altitudes of over 50,000 feet (15,000 meters). It was equipped with a variety of weapons, including bombs and missiles, and had a range of about 1,300 miles (2,100 kilometers).
