On 1 October 1994, the Squadron was redesignated as the 305th Aircraft Generation Squadron at McGuire AFB, NJ. As of 1 October 2002, the Squadron became the 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. The 300 plus members of the 305th Aircraft Maintenance perform scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance for 13 assigned C-17A aircraft valued at $2.9 billion. The Squadron is ready to deploy at a moment’s notice to support the United States’ strategic objectives. The bulldogs of the 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron take great pride in providing safe, reliable aircraft.
