Will you do custom models?

Yes, that is our specialty! Contact us at support@squadronnostalgia.com with what you are looking for and we can start there. Typically, we’ll need a few photos for reference and the logo you’d like for the base. Our pieces are all individually made.

What type of models can you make?

We can make almost any aircraft, ship or submarine. We do need adequate reference material although we can do a lot with a little. Please present your idea to us and and we can work together to source pics, line drawings, etc. Let us create your aircraft, ship or sub!

What type of wood do you use?

Specifically, we use a high quality, sustainable wood called Gmelina which it well known for its woodworking properties.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 2007.

How long do custom orders take?

Orders typically take 90 days from start to finish. Factors that we cannot control, such as shipping delays, could cause your delivery date to extend beyond 90 days. Please give yourself ample time to order and receive your custom model.

How long does shipping take?

If a piece is in stock, shipping is within 5 business days, we typically ship right away. Pieces will ship from either our warehouse in TN or directly from our shop depending on its location. If coming from our shop, we use Express shipping which means it usually arrives in under a week.

I see a piece on backorder; when will it be ready?

Typically, backorders take 60-90 days to fulfill once the item is off backorder. Please place your order for a backordered item; all backordered items are prioritized. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions. A backorder piece may be modified as well.

Do you have a storefront?

Do you contract with Federal/State/ and Local Agencies?

Yes, we do. We have produced many pieces for the various Services and museums to include the US Air Force, US Navy, USS Midway, Truman Presidental Library and many others. We also accept GPC. Cage Code: 840W9

What are the sizes of the models?

We can make models from 6 inches to over 7ft. Our standard size is a follows: Aircraft (16-18 inches); Ships (24-36 inches); Submarines (20 inches); Plaques (14 inches); Tail Flashes (20 inches). We typically use the longest point for the measurement. Please let us know if you need a specific size or scale and we can work out a custom quote.
