The 660th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron 660th AMXS  develops expert leaders and technicians who can maintain, mobilize and generate the KC-10 Extender air refueling aircraft anywhere in the world. While sustaining 24-hour operations, the 24 aircraft maintained by the 660 AMXS support the flying requirements of five operations squadrons, contribute to over 6,000 annual sorties and enable the 60th Air Mobility Wing’s global mobility mission. While continuing to sustain operations at home and abroad with the KC-10, the 660 AMXS has been selected to receive the KC-46 Pegasus—an advanced, multi-role tanker which will further accentuate Team Travis’ ability to support Rapid Global Mobility daily.
